Lady Gaga Turns "Poker Face" Performance Into a Near Face-Plant:

Another show, another tumble on stage.
Just one week after Lady Gaga met a less-than-cooperative piano bench during her performance in Houston, she gave new meaning to the term wardrobe malfunction while entertaining her fans in Atlanta on Monday.
While belting out her hit "Poker Face," the singer nearly face-planted after slipping on an article of clothing that she had just taken off and thrown down onto the stage. But, much like her last fall, she carried on as if it was all part of the routine.
Maybe next time she should just keep her top on. Yeah right.

Abhishek Bachchan insecure about Deepika’s ‘item number’???

Recently, buzz had it that Deepika Padukone’s item number in Dum Maaro Dum made Abhishek Bachchan very insecure and so he did everything to convince director Rohan Sippy to have a promotional music video based on his character in the film that of ACP Kammat. And so, ‘Thayn Thayn’ came into picture.

However Abhishek Bachchan puts an end to all these rumours and on the contrary is totally in love with Deepika’s raunchy item number.

Defending the lyrics of the song the actor goes on to say, “We have 1.20 billion people in India and all can’t like the song. But the fact is it’s topping all radio charts and playing everywhere including night clubs, which means the youth have connected and loved the track. It’s doing extremely well and I am very happy with the response that Deepika’s number has got”.

He further adds, “But the fact is it’s topping all radio charts and playing everywhere including night clubs, which means the youth have connected and loved the track. It’s doing extremely well and I am very happy with the response that Deepika’s number has got.”

Director Rohan Sippy negates the idea that Abhishek Bachchan’s promotional video Thayn Thayn was incorporated because Deepika Padukone’s item number was overshadowing the lead protagonist.

“We always wanted a song for Abhishek’s character even before we had thought of Deepika’s item number”, clarifies Rohan.

And so, Abhishek’s item song followed Deepika’s.

3 Thay Bhai

'3 Thay Bhai' could have been a much funnier film. While it sets out to be a smart comedy, the marks it fetches are strictly average.

Review:
The smart comedy is a rare phenomenon in Bollywood, it seems. Facing the onslaught of silly slapstick films that have dominated the genre over the last decade, intelligent comedies seem to have all but taken the exit route out of B'town, though the odd 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' type film does still put in an appearance at the box office every once in a while. With marquee producer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra backing him and three versatile and fairly gifted actors, Om Puri, Deepak Dobriyal and Shreyas Talpade toplining it, debutant director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba must be hoping his film, '3 Thay Bhai', is counted as one, though.

On paper, at least, Lamba's plot sounds like a winner. Three brothers, Chixie, Happy and Fancy Gill, thoroughly estranged and all uniformly down and out on their luck, are brought together by their recently deceased grandfather's will, which leaves them a fabulous fortune. But…the catch is that the terms of the inheritance call upon the trio, who simply can't stand each other, to put aside their differences and spend some time reconnecting with each other in a desolate, snowed out cabin up in the mountains. Unsurprisingly, hijinks ensue.

Also, Lamba and writing collaborators Mehul Suri and Gautam Mehra, get it spot on with their characterisations. Om Puri is perfectly cast as the bullying, boorish businessman elder brother Chixie and Deepak Dobriyal is a revelation as the reticent dentist middle brother, Happy, who still pines for the lovely village lass he could never marry, Gurleen Kaur, played by the debuting Ragini Khanna. Dobriyal's quiet and quirky Happy is in direct contrast to his last role as the showstealing Pappi in 'Tanu Weds Manu'. Shreyas as the talk English walk English airheaded aspiring actor, Fancy, is responsible for quite a few of the laughs '3 Thay Bhai' gets in its first half, while Yograj Singh, star of Punjabi cinema and father to the famous cricket ace Yuvraj, also gets it right in his Bollywood debut as the almost tyrannical dead 'dadaji' in flashbacks.

Where the film slips, however, is in its sheer execution. Even though the three leads of the film play off each other superbly, Lamba's editing sense makes all the difference. Lax at its best, the editing makes the plot drag its feet through the film. Though the gag lines come at fairly regular intervals in the first half, the second half comes through in pauses, as the film starts to lose steam once the brothers step out of the cabin. Scenes like the one where the brothers inadvertently eat contraband laced 'paranthas' and their interrogation in the police station are stretched till they lose their punch. Gags like Talpade's broken, nay, fractured English are also whipped like dead horses, though this isn't quite an editing issue and is something for Lamba, Suri and Mehra.

Musically, the film is made by its title number, '3 Thay Bhai', which Daler Mehndi renders in two versions for the film, both quite addictive. The song sets the mood for quite a few scenes and singer Sukhwinder Singh, who is in the music director's seat with Ranjit Barot here, deserves kudos.

Trying to pack a funny punch, what '3 Thay Bhai' brings instead is a comedic pinch. Perhaps one can write the film's shortcomings up to first time director Mrighdeep's relative inexperience; Lamba certainly shows potential and his next one might be something to keep an eye out for. Still, with the superb Om Puri in the cast and the demonstratively hilarious Dobriyal in the driver's seat.

Nicolas Cage Gets Arrested on Suspicion of Domestic Abuse and Disturbing the Peace

Nicolas Cage was arrested in New Orleans at 6:33 a.m. Saturday and booked on domestic abuse battery, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness.

READ: Mystery solved! Nicolas Cage's rare Superman comic found 10 years after being reported stolen

Details on the incident are scarce, though the arrest allegedly came after Cage was caught loudly arguing with his wife Alice on the street.

The Oscar winner posted the $10,000 bond for the abuse charge and $1,000 for disturbing the peace and was released from police custody.

The New Orleans Police Department said "Cage and his wife were standing in front of a residence that he insisted was the property the couple was renting. She disagreed, and Cage grabbed her by the upper arm and pulled her to what he believed was the correct address. There were no signs of injury on his wife's arm."

"The actor then began striking vehicles and later attempted to get into a taxi. At that point, an officer who had been flagged down by onlookers drove up on the couple, immediately observed that Cage was heavily intoxicated and ordered him out of the cab, which prompted Cage to start yelling. The officers subsequently took Cage to Central Lock-up."

He's tentatively scheduled to appear back in court May 31, though as it stands, no stay-away order has been issued as a result of the skirmish.

Britney Spears Sued For 10m

Britney Spears and her father Jamie are being sued for $10 million by the singer's ex-business partners in relation to her perfume deal with Elizabeth Arden.

Britney Spears is being sued for $10 million by her former business partners.

The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by Brand Sense partner LLC in relation to the 29-year-old singer's ninth fragrance Radiance and branding deal with cosmetics giant Elizabeth Arden.

Britney and her father and conservator Jamie Spears are accused of "being sneaky and underhanded" by alienating Brand Sense from the $15 million-a-year deal, when it was formerly arranged that the business should get 35 per cent of any commission the pop star earned through the scent.

The lawsuit, which accuses Britney of "concealment and invasive actions", states: "Britney secretly made a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky underhanded effort to circumvent and evade its obligations to Brand Sense.

"Effectively, Britney improperly and illegally cut Brand Sense out of the Elizabeth Arden deal."

The company also claimed they caught Jamie "red handed" acting on behalf of his daughter when he complained that the commission rate was too high, leading to a compromise deal in which royalties would go directly to the 'Hold it Against Me' hitmaker.

The suit, which has been obtained by RadarOnline.com, said: "Brand Sense had a contractual right to a 35 per cent commission on any Britney Spears-branded fragrance sold by Elizabeth Arden.

"But Mr. Spears complained that the commission was too high and said that Britney did not want to pay it."

The business went on to say the actions only came to light when it was sent a letter from the beauty giant, dated February 16, 2011, enclosing a royalty report which excluded those made from Radiance.

The company has accused Britney and Jamie of conducting a "fraudulent scheme" and is seeking declaratory relief in excess of $10 million, as well as compensatory and punitive damages.

Black Swan Dance Double: Filmmakers Are "Completely Lying"

In a new 20/20 interview airing tonight, Natalie Portman's dance double from Black Swan gives her first TV interview explaining why she thinks the filmmakers need to come clean about the amount of dancing the star actually did for the Oscar-winning role.

So what exactly does Sarah Lane, who has previously written about the controversy, say? Doesn't sound like she's scoring an invite to Portman's baby shower, let's put it that way:

"They're completely lying about the amount of dancing Natalie did in the movie," Lane tells Elizabeth Vargas on tonight's 20/20.

Oh no she diiiin't!

"I've been doing this for 22 years, and to say that someone trained for a year and a half and did what I did is degrading not only to me but to the entire ballet world," explains Lane. "They threaten the entire principle of ballet and I feel like I need to say something."

In response to the interview, Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky released a statement saying this:

"Here is the reality. I had my editor count shots. There are 139 dance shots in the film—111 are Natalie Portman untouched. Twenty-eight are her dance double Sarah Lane. If you do the math, that's 80 percent Natalie Portman."

But then 20/20 took it a step further and asked the film's editor to go back and verify Aronofsky's percentages.

Editor Andy Weisblum says, "There are about 35 shots that are full-body shots in the movie. Of those 35 shots, 12 are Natalie, and then the rest are Sarah. But over the overall film, Natalie did a lot more than that. I mean, she did most of the other shots. It was sometimes hard for me to tell the difference as the editor, it was so close."

Doesn't sound like this controversy is going to get resolved anytime soon, especially since Portman acknowledged the Black Swan camera crew in her Oscar acceptance speech—but not her dance double.

"I expected it because at that point I knew," explains Lane in the interview. "I did wish that she could have said something nice about ballet itself instead of saying that it was so horrible and she's so glad she's done with it."

So what's at the root of Lane calling out Portman and her sudden desire for public acknowledgment? Could it be that she is close with Portman's fiance's ex-girlfriend?

So far, Portman's only response has been: "I had a chance to make something beautiful with this film, and I don't want to give in to the gossip."

Sounds like a swan-fight. Let the feathers fly, ladies!

Kate Middleton asks royal jewellers to adjust her engagement ring from Prince William

Kate Middleton has reportedly had to adjust her engagement ring from Prince William because it keeps slipping off her finger.

The diamond and sapphire sparkler, which belonged to Wills' late mum Princess Diana, is said to have been fitted with 2 platinum beads by royal jewelers G Collins & Sons.
'Rings with a really heavy rock - particularly one such as this - have a habit of twisting round on the finger,' jewelery expert Robin Haydock tells the Daily Mail.
'Attaching small beads in strategic places on the inside of the band helps to stabilize the ring without having to adjust the band itself.'
Skinny-fingered Kate, 29, looked slimmer than ever as she made her final public engagement with Prince William, 28, earlier this week.
'Kate's shed weight rushing around planning the wedding,' a source recently revealed to Now.
'But she's worried that she'll lose her curves completely, so she's introducing a lot more crabs into her diet.'

Carrie Underwood on Marriage: A Challenge!

The famously private Carrie Underwood opens up about her marriage to NHL player Mike Fisher in the new issue of Us. Not sure how they got her to agree to that.
Perhaps to clear the air about their marriage being on the rocks? It's been reported several times, and while she says it's not true, maybe the rumor got to her.
The American Idol winner does admit that it's been a challenge ...

After nine months as long-distance newlyweds, Fisher was traded from Ottawa to Nashville in February. Carrie Underwood has been giddy ever since.
"It was like, he's coming to live with me! I can go to work, he can go to work, and we can both come home, and we'll be together," she gushed to Us.
But rooming together in her gated Brentwood, Tennessee, development, though joyous, has led to some growing pains and difficulties as well.
"To be honest, on our days off, we just hang out. Just learning how to live together has been fun and frustrating and everything in between."
They watch TV and read the Bible, says a source, who adds, "They're not into partying." As for kids, she's in no hurry: "We have plenty of time!"
